TRUSSES AND JOISTS | MBC TIMBER FRAME

Flat Roof Details

The Flat Roof is a roof system that provides an almost level roof configuration in contrast to the many sloped roofs. As with the Cut / Vaulted Roof Joists the MBC flat roof system utilise open metal web posi joists which sees parallel timber flanges that are plated together with a engineered steel web component. The steel webs are plated in a ‘V’ formation, providing a lightweight structural flat roof joist that can span greater distances in comparison to a standard solid joists. Insulation is fitted by MBC within the flat roof structure with the insulation located in between the posi joists.
